Grateful Dead Fans !!!  I mean ... let's hear it for '80's Dead !!!  And ... Three-Cheers ! for ' both ' 1983! & 1984!! - as this Amazing !!! Vintage-Original Beauty ! was most-certainly ... Right ! - in the Thick of " It " !!  The Grateful Dead ' Live ' on New Year's Eve 1983 - 1984 ! ... at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium !!!  Good Ol' '80's! Grateful Dead !!!  What a New Year's Show ! too here in '83 - this was truly one of the ' many ' periods of change the Band went through - with this Show being one of the Two ( 2 ) New Year's Shows at the S.F. Civic ( in '83-'84 & '84-'85 ) as the '82-'83 New Year's Show prior was at the Oakland Auditorium ( aka. " The Kaiser ! " ), and from the '85-'86 New Years Eve on out ( on through '91-'92 ) ' All ' of the other G.D. New Year's Shows were at the Oakland Coliseum.  So ... yes, a Grateful Dead New Year's Shirt of any sort is pretty-rare when it's from the S.F. Civic Show - much less ... This-One !!!  Just one ' Look ' at the photos provided, and yep -- Wow !!!!!  I mean hey, like this Good Ol' saying goes -- Just Leave It To ... Bill Graham !!  The Grateful Dead & Grateful Dead Fans ... New Year's Eve Shows " Master ! " Ha ! - I like it ... " Master-Bill ! ".  Point being ... this is indeed a " Bill Graham Presents " Shirt which Bill & Co. took the effort to almost Always ! make just a little bit ' Extra-Special ' for the grand G.D. occasion.  With, this occasion obviously being a pretty ' Big ' one ... " New Years Eve 1983 - 1984 ! " - at the S.F. Civic !!  And this leads me nicely to my last, final & most-important point of This ! Fine-Piece of Grateful Dead History !!  Which, very-likely already caught your Eye ! when looking at the photos of this one.  With it being " 1984 " and all - even " George Orwell " Himself ! made-the-cover on this '83-'84 New Year's B.G.P. Shirt !!  From left to right ... Brent Mydland ! - Phil Lesh ! - Bill Kreutzmann ! - Bob Weir ! - Jerry Garcia !!! - Mickey Hart ! - and, last but most-definitely not least - the man himself - Author of 1984 ! ... George Orwell !!  Hah !  Without any question ... one of the Coolest ! - Most-Hilarious !! - and Most " Collectible ! " Grateful Dead " New Year's " Shirts of All-Time !!  And, really ... if you count the Mid-'70's ! Style " Steal Your Face ! " & American Flag ! on the Shirt back side too ? ... we are-indeed talking about one of the Most-Amazing ! Grateful Dead Shirts of " All-Time " !!!  Just leave it to Good Ol' Bill ! ...
