    Description

    An April, 1942, British Admiralty Press photo of a British Convoy that was attacked by the Italian Navy, Malta to Alexandria, Egypt.  The press photo is 8 x 6 1/8 inches in size.  The convoy safely got through.  The press photo shows the convoy in the background being protected with British sailors in the foreground.  The press photo states in part
    “BRITISH OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH, ADMIRALTY PHOTOGRAPH, ISSUED APRIL, 1942,
    MEDITERRANEAN

    The photo is in very nice condition with no tears or creases.
