The public Bill Office, the Votes and Proceedings Office and the Old Member's Staircase leading from the Star Court to the inner lobby were destroyed. The Cloisters are situated in the angle between St. Stephen's Hall and Westminster Hall. They were built by Dr. John Chambers, physician to King Henry VII. Jan. 6 1941.
